How do we upload spatial data from MapInfo Tab Files to Cloudera? Later Spectrum spatial to connect the same data.  Do we have a methodology?
Like how we use the easyloader to publish data to SQLServer/ Oracle / Postgres and then publish maps to Spectrum spatial?

    Thanks in advance :)

I think the easiest way may be the Spectrum Spatial Map Uploader.  To pull from the documentation:
Available on the Home > Utilities tab of the Spectrum Spatial Analyst Administration Console is a new utility for uploading and creating named resources (maps, layers and tables) in Spectrum Spatial.

You can read the documentation here:

It depends on what you want to do with the data once it has been loaded onto Cloudera and which tools you want to process the data with.

If you are looking to use Spectrum Spatial for Big Data, you can basically copy the tab files directly onto the HDFS on the Cloudera platform/cluster.

Have a look at the documentation for Spectrum Location Intelligence for Big Data.

    Krishna,

Unfortunately, there are no automatic tools to upload a table directly from MapInfo Pro to Cloudera. You will need to FTP the table to one of the nodes in the cluster and then use the commandline to add the table to HDFS as documented here:

Once you have the table in HDFS, you can use our SDK as Peter describes to query it

    ...from Hive:

    ...or from Spark:
