  • 1.  Converting GeoJSON to TAB

    Is there a built in way or a tool I can install to allow me to import a GeoJSON directly into MapInfo or convert it directly to a TAB?

    I believe we can not directly convert GeoJSON to TAB. As per my knowledge Best approach would be converting GeoJSON to Excel or CSV and then convert it to TAB.

    With MapInfo Pro 17.0 we added a new .NET capability for accesing the tab format from your .NET environment. This is referred to as the MDAL - MapInfo Data Access Library.

    It also holds a few methods for converting to and from basic geographic string formats, such as GeoJSON and WKT (Well Known Text).

    But this is more a developer feature than an end user feature.
