    Some nostalgia for all...GIS, but not as we know it now...this is a video of MapInfo Pro 2.0...in DOS. Amazing to see how far we have come - although the thematic map still looks reasonable! :)

    I wonder if anyone else has memories of the history of MapInfo Pro? Perhaps the 3D glasses which came with the software??

    It says MapInfo Professional 6.5 on the glasses

    Thank you. 3D viewing came in with v6.0 then Andy Dressel added the stereo feature to the version after that. But what is the secret function key combo to switch it into stereo mode?

    I can't either. It still works in MapInfo Pro 15.0, that is Ctrl+F3.

    But it doesn't work in MapInfo Pro 17.0.

    Wonder if anybody is using this?

    Yes Ctrl+F3 but don't tell anybody else... 😉
