    Hi All,

I wonder how the data science model in Spectrum works. Is it only doing the scoring, meaning the models are developed outside of Spectrums Enterprise Desinger or how does that work?

    Thank you
    Marcus

    Hi Marcus,

Spectrum Data Science provides a drag and drop front end to H20.ai machine learning algorithms coupled with Spectrum data preparation and data access. The analytics scoring capabilities included in Spectrum Data Science (or licensed separately for IT to operationalize models) includes scoring for both the Java based H20.ai models and many PMML models (produced by Spectrum Miner and other analytics predictive modeling and segmentation tools).

For examples on using Spectrum Data Science and scoring it's models, check out the examples here https://support.pb.com/help/spectrum/18.2/en/webhelp/MachineLearningGuide/index.html#MachineLearningGuide/source/Demos/DemosIntro.html

For the list of models supported in PMML, check out the documentation here https://support.pb.com/help/spectrum/18.2/en/webhelp/AnalyticsGuide/index.html#AnalyticsGuide/source/ModelEvaluator/ModelTypes/analytics_model_types_overview.html

Feel free to reach out with any other questions.

    Kind Regards
