They were asking for a tool, like many of us have -- not just how to edit a table.
There the current "Inter-object Node Snap" tool does not allow you to set your "good" data as a target and make the other nearby nodes snap TO the targeted object(s).
Spatial integrity is always a problem with MapInfo. I'm constantly having issues where combining objects should not leave gaps, but they always seem to because of object processing or the way that node thinning is not as intelligent as it should be. For example, if a node do be deleted coincides with the node two or more other objects, then it is some kind of intersection (like a "T"). The node should not be removed then because it is necessary (even if colinear) to keep the objects' edges matching.

You can access the 'Show Nodes' from the Layer Tools > STYLE tab > Display group to see the Nodes.
To edit, go to the Spatial Ribbon > Edit section > Nodes.
Snap to Nodes, Move Duplicate Nodes and Overlay nodes onto target should be of use for checking.

First layer is target layer. Remain without changes. Corrections will be within predefined tolerance. If the points are close, then the nodes will be moved to the snap. If there is no node on region, then the point will be added to this region. If there is no points on target region, then the points will be removed.
The tool without authomatic repair, only checker, will be useful too.
