Hi
@Des Martin - further to the question from
@Peter Møller, can you check if the Fonts are visible via Windows (not through MapInfo Pro)? To do this (on Windows 10):
- Go to: Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Fonts
- Double click the font set (MapInfo Arrows)
Do the correct symbols display? If not this could indicate a problem with the registration of the font file in your operating system. You can register the individual font set manually by browsing to the file (we can provide you the name & location of the file) in Windows Explorer, opening and then clicking "Install". Alternatively, if you go to Control Panel\Apps & Features then scroll to MapInfo Pro, select "Modify" and then "Repair" this action may help to resolve the issue.
Please share an update to let us know the progress.
Thanks, Ashley

Do all the MapInfo Symbols, or at least all the True Type fonts, seem to fail rendering correctly? Or is is only a few of the fonts?

Subject: MapInfo Symbols
Hello All,
Apologies in advance if this topic has been discussed before,
Has anyone encountered an error similar to the image below where Map symbols fail to render correctly
Previews load correctly, but the symbols themselves display as miscellaneous characters, and do not display correctly within any map or layout window.
Am I missing something simple?
Thankyou for any advice received,
Regards
Des
