    While dates are slightly fluid, we're shooting to release the French, German and Japanese version of MapInfo Pro in August, followed by a version containing the Danish, Swedish and Finnish languages ~45 days later.

    An improvement we've made this year is to include all languages available in a single installer, so if you use multiple language versions in your organization you no longer need separate downloads.

    With each update we will also be providing a few enhancements that were identified in the beta process, and of course some bug fixes.

    Each account/client that has an up-to-date maintenance agreement, or has purchased Pro in the last year will be notified of the availability of these releases. Bookmark this post and follow the MapInfo Pro subject area to receive updates as dates are firmed up, or if you are out of maintenance and waiting for your local version.

    Just to confirm going forward all Mapinfo Pro patch releases will be a single installer with multiple language versions as well?

    Yes, the patch releases will still work on any language version of MapInfo Pro

    As Dave mentioned, the localized French, German, and Japanese versions are included. There are many other improvements:

    • Mini-toolbar status indicator that allows users to select different toolbars with the spacebar
    • More Add-ins that are compliant with the 64 bit version
    • Map Window usability improvements – single key shortcuts for map and drawing tools
    • New version of MapCad
    • Other bug fixes and enhancements
