  • 1.  Does Pack Table reset FastEdit & Undo to defaults?

    Hello all,

     

    Does Pack Table reset FastEdit & Undo to defaults?

     

    I have a mapbasic script that deletes a row, and packs the table (to prepare for a search).

    To speed up operations, I do a Set Table <table> FastEdit On Undo Off

     

    But it seems that when I pack the table, FastEdit reverts to Off and Undo reverts to On

     

    Is this proper behaviour?

    I think it is, yes. Pack creates a copy of the table in the background.

    Commit Table also resets these settings
