  • 1.  Moving Child Asset Types

    We created a report structure that has three child assets.   Child Asset (CA) 1 is a child of the parent.   CA2 is a child of CA1.   CA3 is a child of CA2.

    We want to get rid of CA1 and have CA2 become a child of the parent.

    As far as I can tell, there is no way to simply move CA2's placement in Configuration.   It appears, we have to delete all of the children, then create the relationships as new.

    We currently have data under all three children so we would then have to export and re-import the content.

     

    Please advise if there is an easier way to do this.

    I will work with product management to determine the feasibility of implementing this in a future enhancement.
