EngageOne® Designer/Generate v6.6 SP8 Update is now available

    We recently updated EngageOne® Designer, EngageOne® Generate v6.6 SP8 and EngageOne® Interactive Editor v6.6 SP8 . The updated versions (6.6.8.164) are now available on our e-Store. The updated versions contain a number of product fixes which we have listed below.

    It is recommended that you upgrade to these latest versions. 

    Before you install Designer/Generate or update your existing installation(s), please review:
    • The Minimum Hardware and Software requirements in the Designer Installation Guide and Generate release notes
    • The important cumulative functional fixes listed in "Software Changes in this Release" document that accompanies this release
    • The "Advance retirement notices" section in Designer release notes for the retirement dates for older versions of Designer/Generate , SQL, OS  and Output devices

    New in this Release Update

    EngageOne Designer - Interactive Data - Merge Interactive data update

    • Designer Interactive Data Merging has been updated to recognize changes for Default Value, Prompt and Help fields and optionally allow merged values to be replaced.

    EngageOne Designer- Publish Resource cache management update

    • Designer Publish Resource cache management has been updated to allow admin user to optionally clear specific Driver cache when other users are logged in.

    EngageOne Designer / Generate - Support for Ampersand character / Journal entries

    • Designer Publish to EngageOne has been updated to support use of Ampersand character in the Design Publication name and hence produce Template Structured XML Journal entry labels.

    EngageOne Designer / Generate - Support for Thai Diacritics with Horizontal/ Vertical offsets

    • Design Editor and Generate support has been added for Thai language Diacritic characters with Horizontal or Vertical offsets from character origin.

    EngageOne Generate - Publication level Variable support for Text and Image URL

    • Generate has been updated to support usage of Publication level Variables in Text and Image URL links . 

    EngageOne Designer - Publish support for String / Number comparisons in Formula Conditions

    • Designer Publish has been updated to support comparison of a String representation of a Number to an Actual Number type within Formula Conditions.

    EngageOne Designer - Image URL dialog update

    • Design Editor Image URL dialog has been updated to allow Images within unevaluated logic paths to have updates applied with a single "OK" button press.

    EngageOne Designer - Publish improvement for Anti-Virus Software environments

    • Designer Publish has been re-worked to cater for environments where Designer Publish cache files are locked by Anti-Virus software to avoid locking failures.
