What is the most useful document around Spectrum? Well, I am a big fan of the attached "Summary of Features" that describes briefly the architecture and then introduces the various modules and stages. This is updated for every version and I always find it quite useful to understand what the platform is capable of doing

    What do you think?

    Hi Marcus,
Thanks for sharing, this is a usefull document.
Where can we find this document for each Version? ( 18.2 or another language).
I didn't find it in the documentation index from Spectrum.

    Hi Markus,

we have this per major version ... 12, 11, 10 and so on as the modules are usually not different between the versions. Please find the "old" one from version 11 attached.

As this is more a sales/marketing document, this is not in the engineering/technical documentation index. But eventually a good idea to add it there?
@Amit Asawa, @Himanshu Verma, @Scott Arnett - what do you think?

    All the best

Hi, everyone. We have not updated this document over the last few releases. We instead opted to include release deltas in our Release Notes. Stay tuned, however, because we are redesigning the Summary of Features to be more succinct.

I'm in favor too but it is quite lengthy & some of the information is repeated. Would be better if we just talk about the capabilities Spectrum offer like - Data Quality, MDM etc. & do not explain the various bundle solutions in this doc.

    Regards,
    Himanshu

I beg to differ. I see this as an important sales tool for the German and Swiss market. See German (business) culture: working in Germany can be challenging because of the direct communication style and high need for detailed information.

With that, I like the document as is, the length shows the solid amount of information it contains. At the right point in the sales process, capabilities is no longer good enough, Germans like more detailed features and functions to understand how the capabilities are brought to life. The documentation would however be too overwhelming at that point in time.

That's my feedback from this (small) part of the world :) Appreciate the opportunity to be able to discuss this here.
