HI Paul
To find the right server, on Foundation (I have 12.1) there is a settings area, where if you have the right permissions, you'll see this:
When you click on it you'll get the SQL server name and database name of UG - but you just need to worry about the SQL server name
Then if you login using SSMS on that server and expand the databases section, you'll see them. You'd have to go back to whoever did the install to find the right database names, as those may vary.
HTH,
Sigrid

Thanks we spoke to the SP Admins and they can't locate the SP content DB per the release notes or anything found fro mthe support team gave to us. Is there a specific content DB these are used for as I assume this would be a general content DB for all customers as this is a common directory for all users when foundation installed looks like?
As the point is to be able to change the setting in the Winshuttle Studio Application Options for the default scripts to there specific folder where scripts will be located. We will make that change on there machines once we have the new folder created under the parent folder created when Winshuttle was first installed.
thanks again

Hi again Paul,
They're stored in the SharePoint content database.
In lieu of accessing that, a site collection admin can find files via the Foundation site, download, delete, create new folders, etc.
Hope that helps,
Sigrid

Thanks we are actually trying to create the new folder groups on the server but the folders found in the Winshuttle Studio Options > Foundation section (Default Destinations for Winshuttle Foundation). These are the settings we need to have changed for a small group of users in a different BU so they only execute those TXR scripts and not all the others we have on server. We can't seem to locate the folder paths for these script and data files on the WFE or the SP server is where we looking for the help? We assume these would be physical folders on one of the servers since all the scripts are checked into foundation and approved so should be easy to locate but even searching for a few of the TXR scripts on WFE or SP are no results found..
thanks again

Hi Paul
You'd have to ensure you had groups for each folder in SharePoint with specific permissions to those folders, i.e. you stop inheriting the permissions from the parent and setup permissions for the groups you have. Note you could also setup sub-sites, if that's easier.
Then have the users in each group change the default in Studio to the folders they need to use/see.
Hope that helps you get started.
Best Regards,
Sigrid

We need a way for Group A (Fixed Asset) to only be able to see and run their scripts and Group B (MDG) to only see and run their scripts how do we separate scripts that are loaded to Foundation and secure them so only those teams see their allowed scripts? We can see the folder settings withing studio Options but where on foundation can we find these folders I would assume this be a folder on the Foundation server for C or D drives we have the software but the admin can't locate them.
Example below from within our Studio we like to be able to have a GroupB for example and place there Query or Transactions scripts in that folder so those only ones they are able to execute and run and see?.
