Hello Everyone,

Before I submit a case to support, I was wondering if anyone else has run into this same issue. Some of my saved BAPI scripts, when opened, do not show anything in the workspace. The details in basic and expert views are there, but the workspace is blank. I have seen this happen with scripts I saved to OneDrive, my desktop, and Foundation. If I add the BAPI back in, I receive a message stating that all will be over written. So, basically, I will lose the work I have already done and have no way of making changes to that particular script. 

Has anyone else had this experience?

As I put together the screenshots for this thread, I wonder if it has to do with the naming convention. There are spaces which cause odd characters to come into the mix. Maybe I should have used a . or _ between the words.

Is it possible this script was created in version 10 of Direct?  If so, that version had an intermediate file (.wbd) that then became a .TXR file.  So the workspace would be empty and would just have the mapping.

Sorry, I should have included that we are using 12.1 Studio and Foundation. I did use your example for order creation as a base, but that shows as version 11. All BAPIs I have created from scratch, are version 12.1.

Hi Vanessa

That looks like it's a brand new bapi you're developing.  I wonder what would happen if you entered the BAPI name in the search and selected it?  Please make a copy of your TXR first, though. 

And please do open a support ticket.  I have never run into this before, so I'm not sure what happened.

Hello,

I have seen this issue before when pulling published Direct or Query from Foundation. When I open the local file that was published I am able to see the workspace and copy / modify as needed to create a new one. I am using version 11.

As of now it is considered a bug and the engineering team is doing some digging. I sent them scripts both published and non-published that have the issue. If/when I receive further details, I'll be sure to update this thread.
