Any old versions of workflow actions still appear in the dropdown options for forms created against 'take action' requests. We only want the most recent version to appear for users.

As a workaround this issue, we have allocated a model type for old versions. We either want any old versions to not appear in the dropdown for when users raise a take action against that domain or we want the ability to hide a model in the menu.

Quick question on this one.   When you say old workflow actions do you mean that the action type is no longer associated with any active workflows?  So you want to make sure that the actions that display are ones that are associated with an active workflow.  Is that accurate?

Action Types that we say are Old we mean, are no longer in use by the business because we have decided to make a new form that reflects the business better. We want to keep the previous workflows and actions so we do not lose the data, but dont want people raising those anymore. 

We want to hide them as they are still valuable insights from data, but we do not want anyone raising actions with these forms, as we created new ones to replace them, as Action Types are not versioned like Workflows are. 

this may have already been answered, but couldn't this be accomplished by deleting all the allocations from your old Workflow Actions, and making sure no active Workflows are linked to them via Object Type?
