  • 1.  Locator Uploader Command Line Utility Question

    Hi All.

    Hope someone can clarify this for me.
    I'm trying to create a new search address in SSA using CLI.
    I've created a configuration file and downloaded the .jar file from the platform.

    I got an error when I tried to run it from my local machine
    Error: Could not find or load main class CLI

    Is this because I need to run it from the server? FYI we have SSA installed in an Azure server.

    Hi Maria, 

    I believe the error you are getting indicates an issue with java on your machine and how the scripts are referencing java. 

    Have you set the java home environment variable on your PC? 

    There isn't neccesarily a dependency to run the locate commandline utility from the server, providing Spectrum Spatial webservice URLs can be accessed from outside the cloud environment.
