    MapInfo Pro Advanced comes with a new tool for registering/rectifying images.

    That migth be worth having a closer look at.

    The tool is called Warp Image and can be found in the Raster Operations dropdown on the RASTER tab.

    @Peter Horsbøll Møller? I've just taken a look at this tool after installing v17 this week. Do I understand correctly that Control Points need to be created prior? As clicking on the map and the image needing rectifying does not seem to add coordinates against control points.
