LI APIs v4.0 release includes a POSTMAN Collection for all APIs. Developers now have an option to try the APIs and get started with development easily using the POSTMAN collection that is provided as a downloadable along with Client SDKs on the Locate APIs pages in the Pitney Bowes Developer Portal.
Over the last few years, the popularity and usage of web services or APIs have significantly increased. POSTMAN is an API testing tool which comes with powerful HTTP client support.
POSTMAN is used for interacting with REST/HTTP APIs. It provides friendly GUI for constructing request and reading responses. It has an easy-to-use request builder that allows to make API requests easily and manage response data. It also allows collecting and organizing APIs in a feature called POSTMAN Collections.
POSTMAN collections are a very efficient way of sharing APIs with developers. It is much more handy and easier to use than Fiddler and SoapUI. The power of POSTMAN collections is that related API endpoints can be saved into a collection and the entire collection can be shared with other developers. Once they get the collection, they can import the collection, try the APIs and start integration without any extra effort.
