MapInfo Pro

Afternoon, I am trying to generate some templates sized A3, however when sizing the layout in 'Page Set Up' to A3 and the required Portrait or Landscape, and then saving the template, it will always reopen defaulted to A4 Portrait. Having investigated with the default printer settings it seems to default to whatever the setting is there on opening. The template however is A3 size I just need to change the setting in 'Page Set Up', not too difficult to do but just bit bit frustrating. Is there something I need to set that will save this setting so they open at the required and saved size. I have tried starting a brand new template, after getting this issue editing an A4 layout, but still defaults to the A4 Portrait printer settings. Thanks Alan

Hi Alan
I understand your pain!
However, you can set your Options>Startup Preferences to save and restore your Printer settings

On the downside - if it is a shared workspace, then you are relying on other users having access to the same printer/driver.

Sorry, I have the same problem. Also with the brand new 19.3. It seems the printer driver (in my case Bluebeam) controls the page size when MI starts.

Problem solved. It was apparently caused by a corrupt Bluebeam driver.

Thanks Nick / John, I had turned that setting off for myself, and a number of users, as working from home it was suggested as a way of improving performance in not saving the printer information. I will give the users the option and they can decide what is more useful and convenient for their need. Thanks again Alan
