    Global Geocoding Data Quarterly Update (Jan 2019) - Country Coverage Details

    The geocoding team is constantly working to improve our international coverage. The attached excel spreadsheet lists per data set  the latest precision coverage for the January 2019 release.  



    New this quarter is:

    - New address points for Thailand. The address points in TH3 for Thailand include both a Thai script dataset and latinized dataset. Address points also contain house and plot numbers. 

     - New street dataset for Turkey.   Street Data (TR5) has been added to the existing Turkey Geocoder to improve the Geocoding result in Turkey.  

    - Change in data vendor for Indonesia. PT Dutta Streets has been replaced by TomTom.

    ​- New units for Canada Interactive TomTom Streets and MLD​. Units are returned in candidates when available. For MLD, 10% of the records also have unit ranges and 83% have an LDU.
