    In this #Webinar we looked at how to include SmartTexts in your layout to add dynamic text in combination with the already supported static texts.

    We looked at the two way of creating SmartTexts: using an alias and using a MapBasic expression. The alias refers to a look-up where the points to a expression to use at runtime. The MapBasic expression can be any MapBasic expression that MapInfo supports, including the new ability to use custom functions in running MapBasic applications.

    We changed the SmartTextAlias file and added some new aliases and changed a few of the existing aliases.
