    Spectrum Technology Platform Release 12.0 SP2 is now available. This release contains many enhancements, including:

    Big Data Integration (BDI)

    • Added support for Apache Pig script validation

     

    Data and Address Quality for Big Data SDK

    • Added read and write support for Apache Parquet files

     

    Data Hub Module

    • Made model read and write performance improvements
    • Added Visual Query Builder in Data Hub Visualization
    • Added use of custom images for entities in Data Hub Visualization and Relationship Analysis Client
    • Added multiple Administration Utility commands

     

    Enterprise Tax Module

    • Added address change counts to summary report
    • Improved handling of hyphenated house numbers
    • Improved matching of addresses with conjunction tokens

     

    Enterprise Geocoding Module - International

    • Added new geocoders for South Korea and Belarus
    • Added address points for Slovakia (with support for Land Registry Number), Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Brazil, and Singapore

     

    Enterprise Geocoding Module - USA

    • Added point of interest matching, and expanded firm and building name matching
    • Improved handling of hyphenated house numbers
    • Improved matching of addresses with conjunction tokens

     

    Enterprise Routing Module

    • Added a new feature: Avoid Toll Roads - Include or avoid toll roads in the route for GetRoute and Matrix functionality.
    • Added new GetTravelBoundary Stage - This new stage enhances travel boundary functionality and usability and to allow interoperability with other Spectrum stages.
    • Added support for SPD Data Format - ERM data is included in Speed Profile Data (SPD) format. To enable auto extraction, SPD contents of metadata.json now comply with platform schema and ERM supports the updated content of metadata.json.

     

    Financial Crimes and Compliance Solution – New!

    • Includes List Management module for validating, enriching, and de-duplicating lists of individual and company names obtained from external and internal sources
    • Includes Screener module to evaluate entities to determine their financial fitness and legal status when conducting transactions with banks and other financial institutions

     

    Global Addressing Module

    • Added PO Box support for Canada, France, and the United Kingdom
    • Features new Global Type Ahead browser-based interface
    • Enhanced Global Type Ahead to include the ability to search on Eircodes for Ireland and range/range unit support for the United Kingdom and the United States

     

    Global Geocoding Module

    • Added interactive type-ahead geocoding into the Global Geocoding Module (GGM) as a stage and a REST web service
    • Added support for Key lookup is now supported in the Global Geocoding Module for the US and Australia

     

    Location Intelligence Module

    • Added ACL (Access Control List) security service that enables setting secure access permissions for viewing, editing, and managing data and resources.
    • Large Data Visualization – Spatial data aggregation is now available for generic JDBC X (longitude)/Y (latitude) data sources. For example, you can use Apache Impala for spatial data aggregation on a Hadoop cluster.
    • Enhanced user experience – Spatial Manager supports the creation of Named Layers and Named Maps. A SQL Query Builder supports the building of view tables.
    • Visualization - The rendering quality of the symbols on maps has been improved by enabling anti-aliasing, which ensures the borders of symbols appear smooth.

     

    Machine Learning Module

    • Added Binning Management to Machine Learning Model Management
    • Added the ability to import and export Machine Learning models from the Machine Learning Model Management tool

     

    Metadata Insights

    • Handles multiple mapping of a logical model and union operation on those mappings
    • Includes new features:
      • Detection of outliers - Patterns, values, and frequencies that fall outside an expected range of values
      • Addition of credit cards, vehicle identification numbers (VINs), Social Security Numbers (SSNs), and International Bank Account Numbers (IBANs) to the Semantic Profiling Rules.
      • Detection of malformed records in flat files
      • Comments and Annotations – For real-time collaboration on data profiling results
      • Added the ability to fetch random records while profiling models or connections

     

    Server

    • Includes the first implementation of Single sign-on — leveraging Active Directory Federation Services — for Spectrum Technology Platform
