    Hello everyone,

I get 2 different behavior while 2 environments are the same, same 205 build, installation has been done following the same step, which are >

    • Install V16 MapInfo
    • Install V16.0.2 update
    • Install Bing Map service update

I then use the Move To tool to find out an address located in Quebec City, Canada. It properly works without typing the city from environment A on workstation A, but it doesn't work if I do not type in the city where it is located (Quebec) from environment B form workstation B. Furthermore, environment provide a location in Germany ?? What did I miss from environment B ? See videos.

    • Workflow A

    • Workflow B

    Hi Reniel,

Here is a video from another machine where MapInfo is in English > https://www.screencast.com/t/dogyjjzZ

And where Microsoft Windows region & language is defined to Canada. As I previously said, both environment are the same. At first sight, it doesn't seem to be linked to this... But I do not own the truth.

    Thanks much again.

But if I search the following : 4 Pennsylvania Plaza I get same behavior on both workstation. And it properly finds : 4 Pennsylvania Plaza, New York, NY 10001, USA.

So, to answer your question : I just wanted to understand the behavior and why its a tinny different. If I add the city abbreviation it works perfectly, so we are not talking about a major issue. And probably not an issue itself. Move To tool is in a fact a great tool and I'm currently finding out all the subtilities, not more :).
