    Why cannot I get a legend (or text box) to save or print in a layout? It appears on the screen but not when saved or printed. Am using V 16.0.2 (64-bit). Worked fine on previous version!

    Hi Andrew,

    It should work on 16.0.2 as well. Could you please share a little more detail - the data or a snapshot of the screen where you see the legend?

    It could be that the legend is not in the layout frame or could be printing in the next page, depending on the printer settings.

    Screen shotThe legend (as pictured) in layout window above the scale bar is not present when this image is printed or saved. I'm also getting the error message when I save the layout image! Have also just noticed that the Create PDF function is not available since I updated to 16.0.2.

    Hi Andrew,

     

    The error message which you are encountering can possibly be caused by a high dpi (resolution) setting in the default printer specified for MapInfo Pro.
