Geocoding involves processing data with some type of geographic information (address, postal code, etc.) in order to derive coordinate information so that spatial objects (i.e. points or symbols) can be created and displayed (if desired).

MapInfo Pro has multiple ways to geocode data.

MapInfo Pro can:

1) Create points directly if supported coordinate information is present in the data

With a table containing coordinates open in Pro, go to Spatial>Create >Create Points and select the X (Longitude) and Y (latitude) fields.

2) Join a non-mappable table to a mappable table of points via SQL Select: based on a join between columns  (Map > Selection > SQL Select)

3) Geocode using a 2nd mappable table like StreetPro EAL, TIGER Street Data or Multinet 5-digit ZIPCODES, etc.

4) Geocode using Spectrum OnDemand

There are multiple methods within MapInfo Pro to geocode and get those points on the map!

Ah. "Pointless". I see what you've done there. Spatial comments like that are welcome in this here region.

Here is the link to free online tool which can help you to get X & Y coordinates. It uses Bing Maps, Map Quest and Google Maps. You can choose your map.

It can batch geocode address, but has certain limit 600-700 address at once. You can export file in to google earth or make a copy+paste to Excel or CSV, but you need to select OPTION of TAB for the result.
