    Is it possible to have the full palette of customisable colours available in MapInfo available when using the "Layer Tools - Labels" ribbon ?

    Hi Lorraine,

    Do you mean you want a full palette of customisable colours within the 'Colour' drop-down grid which appears when you double-click on a layer from the Layer Control > under the Label Display tab?

    Hi Dave, When the map is activated the LAYER TOOLS ribbon appears with the STYLE and LABELS tabs underneath. If you go to the LABELS tab you cannot select the same colours as if you were to go via the layer control. Therefore you cannot utilise the quicker access of going via the LAYER TOOLS ribbon and use the same colours as via Layer control. Lorraine

    Right, thanks for clarifying - I am on the same page as you now. =)

    You're right, there appears to be a difference in the colour palette range between the grid accessed via the Layer Control and the one accessed under LAYER TOOLS > LABELS > colour drop-down

    I am sure there is a reason behind this. Let me investigate this further and come back to you. In the meantime, you may receive some feedback on here as I know some of our Engineers do monitor li360 from time to time.

    Hi Lorraine,

    When you access the color palette range between the grid accessed via the Layer Control and the one accessed under LAYER TOOLS > Labels >color drop-down, it is just the presentation style which is different. This is because the Ribbon gallery is developed by a third party and they have used their own style for the palette. The one accessed via the Layer Control comes from MapInfo Pro. Otherwise they both have the standard colors.

    Through LAYER TOOLS > Labels >color drop-down, you can choose the custom colors as well from the custom tab it has.

    Hi Shweta, Thanks for your reply. I am aware that I can access custom colours via the ribbon, but when I have customise certain colours in the MapInfo custom colours grid it would be more convenient if they were then available via the ribbon.
