Easier to add basic controls to the ribbon with MapInfo Pro 17.0.1
Until now you would have to use the Ribbon SDK which is .NET based to add a control to the new ribbon interface of the 64-bit versions of MapInfo Pro.
MapInfo Pro changes this as you now can do this via the Alter and Create Buttonpad statements. Read more in this post:
