  • 1.  Exporting ascii files in MapInfo

    Hi All,

    I have done a few rasters operations (merge and clip) over my original ascii file. Now the new format .mrr in MapInfo is created (v16) however, I need it in ascii file.

    I export the file and I select ascii however, when I change the extension of the created .txt into .asc, I cannot open it with MapInfo!See Attachment Am I doing something wrong?

    If you are looking for the ESRI Ascii grid format, you need to convert your raster file using the Convert function in the Raster Operations dropdown.

    Th ASCII format here is a different type of ASCII format.
