• Pressing [Enter] from the Filter dialog should apply the filters and exit.
• To me, "Close" implies "Apply and Close" but it is simply an exit button. Maybe label the button [Exit]?
• The top condition should be sticky, i.e. retain the last choice that was used. I am always filtering by some initial letter while I am proofing, and I keep having to change the drop down from Equals back to Begins With.

• We do have "Apply" on keyboard enter as one of UX improvements, we'll try to get this resolved.
• By filter, I am assuming you are referring to query- we have two button they are called "Cancel" and "Create" (unless you are referring to something else)
• Can you please elaborate a little more? If you can, please add a screenshot for us to refer. That would be helpful. We'll try to fill the gaps.
• Can please also share which version of SSA you are using?
