I work for Waverley Council in Sydney's coastal area. Our economic development manager wants to know the location and category of our local businesses, in order to promote local economic development and encourage tourism to international visitors.
So I created this pie chart map showing local businesses located at our world-famous Bondi Beach area. I acquired the source data from the government's business registration authority, and used coloured Pie Chart to show the category of local businesses according to ANZLIC(Australia and New Zealand Land Information Council)'s business category colour code. The bigger the pie, the more businesses located on that property, and the Pie Chart also show the rough percentage of different types of businesses at a location.
The coloured pies on the legend became very small as the map scale gets smaller, even hard to see, something remains to be fixed. Anyway, hope you guys like this map, and any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.
