    The other day I watched this Ted talk on a new way of thinking about location. In just three words, you can share (or find!) a location to within a 9 meter square. They have an app too, to quickly locate your location.

    That is definitely an interesting way to locate places - especially in areas where the "normal" addresses haven't really been implmented yet.

    As I recall a number of postal services has started to use What3Words.

    The MapInfo Pro engineering team did a hack and created a What3Words app for MapInfo Pro. Maybe we should try to get that one cleaned up and share it.
