    Hi Mister MD,

    It doesn't appear you can rename a query name in Table list directly (MapInfo 16). You can rename the query in Explorer window but it will not reflect the table list for the query tables.

    If you have constructed the query in the SQL Select dialog, then you can name the selection ">into Table Named"?. You cannot rename it afterwards other than in the Layer Control (not the Table List). Otherwise it will appear as Query X.
