  • 1.  How to perform Watershed modelling and Hydraulic modelling activities using Mapinfo?

    Do we have any extensions or 3rd party application which we can integrate with MapInfo for Watershed modelling and Hydraulic modelling? I have a potential client who wants hydrology and hydraulic modelling. Thier main requirement is to manage the watersheds.And also they might suggest us to water distribution network team. I feel that MapInfo alone can sit in this requirement. Question is can we address the client with that requirement? Do we have any extensions to match the requirement?

    Discover has a Hydraulic module that will define watersheds and river flows from a DTM. Not so much the "Hydraulic Modelling" though - or is this all you need?

    Discover was a Pitney Bowes product but is now owned by DataMine.?

    Is Datamine Discover and PB discover 3D same? If yes, Half of the requirement seems to be covered with this tool. If not, Can we expect a Hydraulic modeling tool in MapInfo roadmap?

    Yes, PB Discover 3D was sold to DataMine quite recently.?
