    Hello in the previous versions there was a command that allow you to create line by specifying length and orientation. Could anybody let me know where is stored in MPro?

    Hi @Gustavo Rodriguez? are you referring to a MapBasic function? CreateLine() requires a pair of coordinates and can be executed via the MapBasic window or in a script. Or was the function you are referring to accessed via the GUI? There are some line creation tools included as part of MapCAD tools which need to be loaded under Home > Tool Extensions in v17.

    In the previous version of MI/Discover I had (2012) there was a function (map basic, I think) that allows you to create lines by length specifying the longitude and orientation of the line by clicking in the cosmetic for example, and specifying these parameters. I could not find where this could be stored in MI 2015.

    Yes I think the tool is still there. Try under Discover > Object Editing > Key in Shapes ?
