Hi everyone and hope you're all enjoying your summers (or looking forward to them) wherever you are!
This map shows the predicted change in median annual temperature by the end of the 21st century. It assumes a convergent planet with global population that peaks at around 2050 and declines thereafter. It also assumes fast changes in economic structures toward a service and information economy with reductions in material intensity and the introduction of clean and resource-efficient technologies.
The UK summer 2018 is/was a very hot one with temperatures above average so perhaps this is something that we all need to get used to with Climate Change in the future.
The data was obtained from the Climate Change Knowledge Portal.
Thanks,
Fiona
