How to calculate distance for retail location to each census tract. In ESRI ArcGIS, you can use the Near Tool and select each retail store individually. Is there similar tool in MapInfo or what sort of query I can use?

    You can use the Distance Calculator tool that ships with MapInfo:

    Thank you Greg, that did help. Do you know if you can you use drive -time to calculate distance?

    Dinar,

    MapInfo Pro 17.0 has a tool that allows you to create drivetime regions. Would that be helpful?
