  • 1.  LIDAR laz 1.4 format is not supported by MapInfo Advanced?

    MapInfo Advanced (V17) does not seem to be able to create a raster with the LIDAR laz 1.4 format.

    I get this error message: "An error occured reading the LASZip file"

    I used to work with LAZ 1.2 format and no problem.

    Could someone confirm that the 1.4 format is not (yet?) supported?

    I can confirm LAZ v1.4 files are not supported.

    We currently use the 2.2.0 libraries and to support v1.4 files we will need to upgrade to the version 3.2.2 libraries.

    We can upgrade this for the next scheduled patch release in late 2018.
