Is there a way to hide the dots in the MapInfo Pro layout window? I realize that the dots are guides and don't print, but I'd like to hide them from view. Thanks!

    Hi Drew

I assume it's the grid you are referring to.

There is a number of ways you can control and take advantage of the grid.

If you go to the Alignment control in the Edit group on the LAYOUT tab, you can see a few options related to the grid.

You can change the grid spacing or the grid size which means the distance between the dots. I'm using cm as my paper units so the distances are here shown with this unit.

    Layout Set Grid Spacing

You can also turn on and off the grid if you prefer not to see it all.

    Layout Show Hide Grid

And finally you can take advantage of the grid by snapping your elements to it.

    Hi Peter,

That's exactly what I needed. Thank you! I figured that option must be there, but I couldn't find it.
