MapInfo Pro users and other consumers of spatial data for location analytics might be interested to note that Pitney Bowes have released the 2018 update for its custom modelled datasets "Population Estimates & Projections" and "Consumer Spend Potential". These datasets are released at the ABS Statistical Area Level 1 (SA1) geography making them very effective for small area analysis or for aggregating into bigger catchments.
Also just updated at the SA1 level is Release 2 of the "Base Demographics" dataset which is a selected group of over 300 key variables at SA1 level from the 2016 Census including data from the General Community profile, the Place of Enumeration profile and SEIFA.
These datasets also form some of the 36,000 plus demographic and modelled variables available in the reporting and analysis platform AnySite Australia, which has just undergone an update to incorporate these releases.
Updates in the near future are expected for the modelled dataset "Daytime Population" and the lifestage and affluence dataset CAMEO.
