  • 1.  Is it possible to edit a Layout Template in MapInfo Pro v17?

    I am really liking the new Layout Templates in MapInfo Pro v17 and I have built a few now. However, I can't find a method to go back and edit my first attempt. Or is it just me...?

    Hi John,

    If you open up one of your existing custom templates which you created (e.g. open your first attempt) then make necessary edits, and go to LAYOUT > Save As Template > either give it a new name or if you decide you want to overwrite your original template, then give it the same name as the existing one. MapInfo Pro will ask if you want to overwrite the existing template.

    That was the only way I could see of updating a Template too. This also means re-writing the description and details of the Template. Hence an "Edit Template" option would be neater.
