    Please be aware that there is a problem with borrowing in the MapInfo LSU 4.8. We are aware and working on a fix.

    As I recall, the problem was that the set maximum number of days you could borrow a license, is being ignored.

    Maybe one of our tech support specialist can go a bit more in detail, @Dave Sepowski? can you help out here?

    Peter, I am happy to clarify....This issue for LSU 4.8 occurs when the LSU administrator sets a max time period for borrowing, say 14 days, for example, and then the end user of Pro borrows a license, but the borrowing period is incorrectly set to 365 days and NOT 14 days, as expected.. Engineering confirms this is an LSU issue and not an issue with Pro, per se and working on a fix.

    Please note that the version of the LSU 4.8 currently available for download from either our webpage as a stand-alone download/install or downloaded with the "full" MapInfo Pro 17.0 splash screen-based installer, are NOT fixed versions. This issue only affects MapInfo Pro users of Concurrent borrowable licenses and is scheduled to be resolved as soon as Engineering completes testing - resolution expected to be released next month (June).
