  • 1.  Access to Open Street Map from MapInfo Pro

    I noticed that in our (outdated?) product documentation about MapInfo Premium, it states that Open Street Map is accessible. Is this still the case? I do not find it…If not, is there another way to open Open Street Map as a background in MapInfo?

    I believe the OSM Foundation asked to have the link removed from a commercial product (MapInfo) - so this only lasted for one version of MapInfo.? You can set up the WMS feed yourself.

    Thank you very much for the answer, I have found the OSM tab file and succeeded to open it. But these tab fiiles are only shipped in a Premium version, right? Or are they shipped with all versions?

    There are a number of different services providing Open Street Maps WMS.

    I find the service from https://www.mundialis.de/en/ows-mundialis/ looks better than the one shipped with MapInfo Pro.
