    How do you handle spatial forecasts and predictions INSIDE MAPINFO? and ¿Does Mapinfo have a built-in module for analytics and statistical models, forecasting, etc... so it is not necessary to get out to R or IBM SPSS?

    Hi Camilo,

    Great question! Sorry for not replying sooner. It would be good to understand your use case(s). Can you elaborate a bit further on what analytics you are looking for, and the business outcome you are expecting?

    MapInfo Pro itself mainly supports the spatial calculations and aggregations part of analysis, but not the statistical models and analytics. However, we have a number examples of such work being performed with MapInfo and/or SSA in combination with such tools, some maintained by our professional services, some by our partners.
