I have posted this same issue with but not sure if it was in correct forum and reached the intended or not.

Do we have any quick workaround or any setting which can be used to remove additional information like "legend" word and geometry type from the legend box created using Map > Add to Map >legend.

Hi Neeraj,

While creating the Legend > Click on the next button and go to the Legend Default Properties window. 

In the Legend Frame defaults delete the string Legend. Click on next and go to the Frame Properties dialog > the "Title " should have the name of the 1st map layer . Click on finish. 

See if this works for you.

Issue #1 resolved by following your steps.

Issur #2 still exists how can i remove geometry type from the legend.

I need not to mentioned the geomrtry type of the layer in legend.

Refer to attach video for more information,, it could be played in any browser.

Let me know more information is required from my side.

In the dialog Create Legend - Legend Default Properties under Legend Frame Defaults clear the field Title and write # in the field Style Name.

This will remove the title from the individual elements and add the Layer Name as the Style Name instead of the Geometry Type.
