  • 1.  Can I rename my layouts/windows in MapInfo Pro 17.0?

    I am currently using V16, yet in all the previous versions, I was able to re-name my (TABs/Layout) Windows. Can I do this in V16, or is this feature going to be in V17? 

    Nesting at the printer/plotter has been a nightmare without being able to name my Layouts.

    You can rename any document window in MapInfo Pro.

    Maps can be renamed via the Layer List in the Explorer window.

    Browser and Layout windows can be renamed via the Windows List in the Explorer window.

    Right click on the window you want to rename and select Rename or just hit F2 when you have selected the window to rename.

    Rename Windows

    Then enter the new name of the window and hit OK to apply the new name.
