  • 1.  Create colour/color range

    I have a table containing 200 regions, with a Float value attribute from -100 to +100. I want to create a thematic map, showing a graduated range of colour for these values, rather than just 5 (or more) ranges. What's the best method to achieve this in MapInfo 15 (32 bit)?

    Hi Chris

    Well, start with a graduated colour template? - colours to suit - then you can edit the number of ranges and increase up to 16 ranges (more than 16 becomes indistinguishable). There is a further nice touch of being able to introduce a third colour inflection to help distinguish and differentiate - and you can choose/adjust at which band the inflection is introduced (you need to select >Options when you are in the Customise Styles dialog).
