  • 1.  Map object labelling

    We have trouble on labelling of map objects. The Mapinfo application v16.0 (64-bit) suddenly closes at times when do manual or semi-manual labelling or adjsustment of labels of map objects in layout window. We haven’t experienced this kind of problem in v15.0 or in lower version of Mapinfo.

    Please let us know on how to fix it.

    Gabriel,

    First thing to make sure is that you have the latest patch installed. You can find the MapInfo Pro 16.0.2 Update here:

    http://www.pbinsight.com/support/product-downloads/item/mapInfo-pro-v16.0.2-maintenance-release

    If you already have installed the patch or you don't see any improvements after installing the patch, I would recommend you to reach out to our technical support (software.support@pb.com). They will help investigate in what circumstances this issue occurs.

    Hi Peter,

    On the release notes, I have checked on the system requirements and Windows 7 Pro. Ed. is not included in the list.

    Will it work to Win 7 Prof?

    I would think so. We have only tested it with the Ultimate version of Windows 7
