    Hello MapInfo expert. MapInfo V16 : Layout mode "capablities"...

    - There is only Select (canvas) available. I understand that we can no longer proceed other selection type in Layout mode. Is it accurate ?

    - Rounded Rectangle. We can no longer define the corner radius of those added in Layout mode, but only the style. Is it accurate ?

    These options\capabilities were available in V15.

    For selecting in the Layout, you are right. You only have the Select tool.

    It can however also be used as a Rectangle Select by clicking and holding down the left mouse button, dragging a rectangle and then releasing the mouse button.

    Regarding the corner radius of Rounded Rectangle, you can draw a custom one in any map window and then copy it to Layout.
