  • 1.  How can I style individual elements of the OS Highways dataset?

    I have the OS Highways dataset which is a single tab file and single layer. Is there a way to colour the motorways blue, for example? ?I can use a select query to get all of those records matching motorway. Can I set their properties in the same way as a layer?

    Have you considered using a Individual Thematic?

    In the image below, I have create an individual theme on a roads layer and set a style for the individual road classes.

    In v17.0, this also gives your the benefit of being able to turn on/off the individual bins via the Layer Control
