  • 1.  New Asset Entry - Don't Leave Entry Form Until After Duplicate Check

    When entering a new asset in Govern, if there is existing asset with the same Key the error message below will be displayed, the creation will fail, and all information put in will be lost.

    I would like to suggest that when a new term is determined to be a duplicate by Key, the entry form should remain the active screen and the relevant Key field should be highlighted and noted with the error. This would allow users the opportunity to change the Key, or at least copy the information put in so it is not lost completely.

    As of  now we don't support that type of functionality and we have created Enhancement ticket for your request and our Product Management team will be going to review your request.
