We would like to create a workflow to request an asset. In this workflow there is a form in which information about the requested asset should be entered.

In this form the first field is a reference list with the different asset types.

Depending on the selection in this list, different fields should appear below it. A user should only see the fields that are relevant for the corresponding asset.

Is this possible? If yes, what is the procedure for this?

    Hi Michael,

Currently that capability is not there.  I understand the need, what you're asking for is conditional fields on a workflow form.   We have this as an open enhancement request so I will note your ask in the request.   Is is this a new workflow you're trying to build?

    Thanks!

    Hello Mandy,

thank you very much for your quick reply!

Yes, we want to offer our users the possibility to request different types of assets with only one action type workflow. This workflow should also be triggerable from all allocations in Data360.
Therefore, after selecting an option from the reference list, only a certain selection of fields should be visible to the user.

    Best regards
    Michael

    Ok thanks for the feedback.

We have the enhancement documented.  We have on our roadmap to improve our workflow functionality slotted for later this year, and this will be considered when we get there.  If you're working on building the workflows in the short term, you'll need to create the different Action Forms, but we will definitely keep you apprised of any progress made with this.

    Thanks!
